How to reconfigure account "access" on personal-use iBook.....

meaning......I set my daughter up with her own account (login opens her side of the "cube") and now we can't share files with each other. I'm the "administrator" and I have no clue how to fix this. No matter where we store the files, we can't access each other's files.

(Assume I am a Mac Ignoramus and therefore require condescension and patience in your response)

did you put the files you want to share in the shared folder ?
you can find it in the users folder
it should work then but there are other ways
