Homepod volume changes tremendously

My original HomePod volume changes tremendously between songs. "Sound Check" is turned on. Siri says my volume is at 50%.

What can I do to control this?

Hi Howard,

I have seen this before if you are using Apple Music to play the songs. The fix was to turn off Dolby Atmos in the Home App settings.

Some of my songs are in Apple Music. I had to Google to find that setting. Hmm, turned Lossless Audio on, but probably won't notice any difference.
