Has anyone found a good TV app for Mac?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a reliable TV app for macOS that can handle live TV without being overly complicated. I’d mainly like something with a clean interface, decent playback quality, and support for switching between channels easily.

I’ve tried a couple of apps, but I’m not sure which ones are actually worth sticking with. What TV apps are you Mac users currently using, and how has your experience been with them?

I’d especially appreciate recommendations that work well on newer versions of macOS.

I don't know of any Free To Air TV (FTA) receivers only browser web sites for channels that Stream versions of their FTA channels and or have Live Streaming Options such as Australian ABC's iView, SBS's SBS on Demand, Channel 7+ and so on. Any of these can be added to a "Smart" TV or mobile device as an App but for a computer I don't know of any TV "tuner" apps. What have you tried?

I’ve tried a few browser-based options too, but I was also looking for something that feels more like a proper TV app on the Mac rather than just having a bunch of tabs open. I recently came across İnat Box APK while looking at streaming options, although it seems more geared toward mobile/Android use than macOS. inattvproapkindir has some information about it, but I’d be interested to know if anyone here has actually found a Mac-compatible alternative with a similar channel-browsing experience.

For FTA channels, I agree that services like ABC iView and SBS On Demand are probably the simpler route on a Mac. I’m mainly trying to find something that makes switching between available live channels a bit more convenient.
