Perhaps someone knows of a better way to do this, but:

In finder, how do you display the last date modified and / or the location of files using the search feature? For example, if I search for a file named ALEX.txt, I may need to know the last time it was modified, not when it was opened. Or I might even need to check what directory it is in. Also, how could I search for a specific type, such as Word documents, not just all documents types.

Thanks!

No problem, thanks for the response.
Either one, I guess, I am just looking for an easy way to view a list of files based on last modification date. I have also encountered results in Finder or Spotlight where there are two files (unfortunately named the same thing) in two different locations - but Spotlight does not indicate a directory, so its hard to sort things out.

Thanks!
