Final Cut Pro Shutting Down On Me

Every time I try to open Final Cut Pro it shuts down on me and leaves me with this message...

The Application Final Cut Pro quit unexpectedly.

Mac OS X and other applications are not affected.

Click Reopen to open the application again. Click Report to see more details or send a report to Apple.

It was working fine a few days ago. What happened and how do I fix it?

To repair permissions:

Open Disk Utility, located at /Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility
Select your startup disk on the left of the Disk Utility window
Select "First Aid" from the tabs if not already selected
Click the "Repair Disk Permissions" button
