Entourage Help!

I have been trying to sync my gmail account with Entourage 2008 but has been unsuccessful. I followed the steps taught in:

And it seemed to be okay because I could send emails using entourage but the problem came when I tried to retrieve emails from my gmail account. An error occured and I was told:


Error:
mx.google.com ESMTP i9sm4639251tid.9

Explanation:
Could not retrieve mail

Error: -16997

Can anyone please shed some light as to what is going on? And what wrong have I done...

Hi there,

without stating the obvious is everthing setup as described !

have you set gmail to allow POP...
