Digital Camcorder advice PLEASE

Hi there,

I need to get one of these asap, and was wondering if anybody could recommend a good one that won't break the bank at the same time!?

The only digi-camcorders' software I have found only seem to be compatible with PCs... cheers in advance for your help

Not that it maybe helps with this... but I have a mac mini OSX 10.4...

Any firewire DV tape camera will have no issues at all playing via iMovie/iDVD. The issues come into play when the camera records on MPEG2 and or mux.

There is software out there too for the Mac. It is hard to recommend one really the best thing you can do is have a google around

I have, but don't seem to be able to find one that is mac compatible
