Hi Mary,

have you emptied the trash recently ?

Have you done any "Archive and Installs" recently if you have you may have an old "Archive System Folder" that you don't need...

..it's very hard to tell you what to delete without knowing whats on your Mac ?

Hi Ric,
Is there a way of telling what are old archive system folders?
I have Applications (mac os 9) and System Folder 9 and Desktop (mac os 9) would these be worth deleting as I am with mac osx or is there stuff I still need?
Thanks Mary
ps I wanted to send pictures of what is in these folders but got this /Users/maryfisher/Desktop/Picture 4.png so how would I resize?

Hi Mary,

I'll show you how to resize later...

...for now go to this website and download this Software. It's free !

http://www.searchwaresolutions.com/products/software/printwindow.dmg

It allows you to "Print the windows"...watch the movie and you'll see what I mean.

It takes quite a while for it to do it. Mine took an hour !

Then once you have a PDF file email it to me at the usual address...

I can then see what is taking up lots of space !

regards

Ric
