Please help the attached image is the only way i can show what I'm experiencing how can i turn this off it was some how turned on by my daughters friend it makes it near enough impossible to do anything?

It looks like VoiceOver has been turned on, which is part of the Accessibility functions of OS X.

Try the following:

Hold the Command key down and press F5. It should turn off VoiceOver.

If not, let us know.
