CD/DVD player

My iMac spits out any cd dvd that i put in. Any ideas to fix? I am running OS Sierra

Try inserting the disc while holding down the Cmd key. The simplest suggestion from here:

Still no joy on this, but, thanks for the info. I think i will get my I.T guy to check it out and i will post any useful information.
