Can't get my camera to connect when on Google Hangout

I live in Ecuador, and my family lives in the US, so being able to connect both auditorily and visually is really important to all of us.

Tonight, when we had our hangout, my camera didn't connect for the video portion of the call. I went to settings, and it said "No Camera".

Any ideas? If so, I would sure like to hear them! Thanks in advance!

-Which exact model Mac?
-What version of OS X/macOS?
-Are you using Safari or Google Chrome for Google Hangouts/Meet?
-Does the camera work in the Photo Booth or other applications?

I was in the middle of answering your questions, and when I got to checking with Photo Booth, it showed no camera. I instantly went in the Kaspersky app, and sure enough, the camera was blocked. If it hadn't been for your questions, I would never have figured it out. A HUGE thank you!!
