hello i am new to this ,so please excuse my lack oh knowledge
i have ag4 1.42 duel proc .i installed a new dvd/ +/- so that i could use the late'st dvd's .i rebooted the desk top( it showed in the "about this mac "that i had media in the dvd rw but i t was not showing on the desk top as an icon? i ejcted it replaced it with a normal cd and,an audio cd they came up on the screen no problem.I then istalled the latest softwear a pro packadge, rebooted the desktop a normal sound as if it was restarting, then all i could hear was the large fan nothing else it will not sart up i have reinstalled the original drive same problem i have checked the cables all seem to be fitted correctly the light on the tower and the gallery screen do not stay on as before but you can still use them to turn the machine of i am at total loss as what the problem could be
could anyone please help?
