Automator help - Photoshop.

Ok... Let me try and explain what i need.
I run a photobooth for weddings etc etc... and the way i have it set up right now is that photos are imported automatically to the computer to a specified folder.
What i need is for the automator to automatically detect when i have 4 pictures in that folder, open the files into adobe photoshop and apply an action. I have made the action already. And then i need to automator to delete the files out of the folder and wait for another 4 to come in.

Please help me... or please point me in the right direction.

Sorry, Automator can't do that.

I don't know how AppleScriptable Photoshop is, but AppleScript may be your only option.
