Occasionally, I will look at my Ventura 13.2.1 menu bar and one of the apps will be white instead of black. In this screen print, it is Malwarebytes, but I've seen other apps do that. I clicked on it and it turned black.

Any idea what causes that? I suspect it's telling me something, but I don't know what.

Hello,

I haven't seen that myself. Maybe try toggling Reduce transparency in System Preferences... > Accessibility?

OK, thanks.

Maybe disabling Increase contrast will allow Reduce transparency to be enabled?

I turned off "Increased Contrast", and all of the menu items turned white, and all the switches turned off. Then I turned on "reduce transparency" and all of the menu items turned black. Interesting. (DisplayLink is gray but I don't have the HDMI adaptor plugged in).
