SOLVED Adapter(s) for MacBook Pro

I've just acquired a new MacBook Pro (for work), which has two Thunderbolt ports. I would like to be able to connect to: USB A devices; an SD card (for photos); and (occasionally) a DVD drive. I guess there won't be a single adapter that meets all of these needs, but would be grateful for any recommendations. Google searches produce a confusingly wide range of options. Thanks.

Thanks very much. This Belkin hub looks ideal: well, I hope so, as I've ordered one.

It would be nice if it had more than a single USB-C port although I guess you could use a suitable adapter in the USB-A ports.
