Adapter for usb-c to usb

I bought a new Magic Mouse and I found that the cable that came with it doesn't work with my older iMac (21.5-inch, Mid 2010) which has the original style USB port. Can you please tell me how to specify the correct adapter so I can buy it and get it working on my iMac?

Are you needing an adapter that is USB-C Female to USB-A Male? If so, Amazon has a bunch of them.
