The other day I noticed that identical files, displayed in 10.6.8 folders, show file sizes that are about 5% larger than when displayed in 10.5.8 folders. I'm curious why this is. Thanks!
-Are the files/folders and Mac OS X versions on different hard drives? If so, the allocation block size of smaller vs larger drives can affect the size of the file.
-What kind of files?
-Can you give an example of the size difference for a couple of the files?
