Ok, so I am not a computer whiz, but me and my old 2008 Mac had a good thing going for years. That is until I updated (for the first time since purchase) to 10.9.2.
My computer decided to randomly delete my 'Pictures' folder last year. I use Time Machine, so I was able (I thought) to restore the file. I recently moved the computer and when I restarted it, my screensaver had changed. Again, the pictures folder had been deleted. When I opened Time Machine, I realized it had not been backing up for a year. Cue lamenting losing a years worth of photos, and kicking myself. I have decided that I should back up with BackBlaze as well, but because my external hard drive was used as the Time Machine back up, BackBlaze won't back it up. The problem being that now my computer keeps telling me I don't have enough memory to restore the photos.
Is there a chance my photos are still taking up space on my computer somewhere?
