Would be a cool tool to have...nice, clean, simple interface. I like the blue-to-red gradient.
I'll put it in the 'to do' pile...LOL

Of course us Yanks just use the Convert menubar option in the Calculator in OS X.

..of course the Convert Menubar option, why didn't I think of that (probably cause I didn't know it was there, LOL)

Don't use calc much...

I live in the North West not too far from you Ric. I haved to use Manchester as my weather guide as I can't get it for the area I live in - not that it makes much difference because we experience the same weather anyway :p

A little tip for converting Celcius to Farenheit:

Lets say it is 10 º C

You double the º C number = 20 and then add 30 = 50 º F

By doing this you will more or less always be within just 5 º F of the actual temperature, and in some cases, spot on.

The actual Farenheit temperature of 10 º C is 50 º F anyway ;)

You can do the same backwards to get the Celcius number:

So if it is 50 º F you need to first deduct 30 which gives 20, then halve that which gives 10 º C .

To sum up:

Celcius to Farenheit - double the number and add 30.

Farenheit to Celcius - deduct 30 from the number and then halve it.
