Hi guys,

I have recently had my yahoo account hacked and suspect it may be a keylogger /spyware on my mac. Does anyone know of a free removal tool?

Hi there Phil,

personally I wouldn't trust 'removal' software.

back up all your data then do a Secure erase of the hard drive then do a fresh install of the OS and all your software.

How strong was your yahoo account password? Do you use the same comb on other sites/accounts ?

Hi Ric, My password was long and nothing personal. Iuse a combination of id's and passwords around different locations. Can Ireinstall osx and leave my windoze partition alone?

is there anyway to save my emails from mail? so I can keep the messages i have?

Ok, I did an arase and reinstall on my mac partition and all is well.. My emails from mail i Saved by following the instructions:

Copy the mail folder from home/library

I have copied this onto my new library folder but i cannot acces the emails, any idea how i get at them?
