Hello,
I have a MacBook pro A1701. Recently I got a crack in the glass nameplate at the bottom of the screen, so I decided to replace it. I got the old one off with no trouble using a hairdryer and a razor scraper. But when I started it back up, the screen is flickering at a specific spot (see pictures).
There is no damage that I can see. I'm thinking maybe the heat from the hairdryer damaged something internal, but I really didn't have it on very long at all. Any thoughts on what I can do to fix it?
