hi,i use a macbook pro only for PROTOOLS and nothing else,no internet nothing,...so my question is,should i update my software when it asks me to?....................thankx

No. Only update software on that Mac when Digidesign announces compatibility. If you do update, probably nothing with break...however, better to be safe than sorry.
