problem with 'finder'

hello..first post!

i pay my bills online. when i get a confirmation number, i print the page as a .pdf. then, i go into finder, and put the file in an appropriate folder.

well, last night, i get a mesage that i can't move the .pdf because i don't have permission to do so . i am the administrator! it"s my macbook! what gives?

anybody have any ideas?

You running as an Admin, that's not good.

Restart your computer.

i restarted. now i can move files around in finder, but i cannot create a new folder. i can create a "smart folder" but i don't think that's what i want.

i've created them in the past and it bugs me that i might have changed a setting or something.
