Hi all, Been a while, just got a Mac Performa 6200CD with 64 mgs of ram, running OS 8, quite nicely.
There are a few ethernet cards for sale on eBay but none identify the Mac models they function
on. Can anyone tell me what card I need or point me to a web site that could tell me that information.
Would be much appreciated.

Hello again,

Unfortunately, that may be VERY difficult to find. That model doesn't have a PCI slot that can accommodate an Ethernet card. It has a 112-pin Communication Slot on the logic board. This slot explains it, and I believe the Apple part you would need would be: 10BASE-T Apple Ethernet CS Twisted Pair Card (Part M3065Z/A).

Communication Slot

That is about the only option you have with that model.

No worries.

It will probably be pretty difficult to locate. I did a quick search and couldn't find any.

Good luck, and let us know if you come across one.
