OS X Directory Utility/Remote Desktop

I am running 10.5.8 on all my clients and am currently converting all the machines to run Active Directory through Directory Utility. After the process, every time that I try to connect to the client through Remote Desktop (host is running 10.6.2) I am given an access denied error. I have the appropriate admin rights but it still does not work properly. Has anyone experienced this? I need to roll this lab out this week!
