If you're not seeing a Bin (Trash) folder in your Mail app for your iCloud account, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue:

Ensure Mailbox Behaviors are Set Correctly

  1. Open the Mail App:
    • Launch the Mail app on your Mac.
  2. Access Mail Preferences:
    • Click on Mail in the menu bar.
    • Select Preferences.
  3. Mailbox Behaviors:
    • Go to the Accounts tab.
    • Select your iCloud account from the list on the left.
    • Click on the Mailbox Behaviors tab.
    • Make sure the Trash Mailbox is set. If you don't see an option to choose the Trash mailbox, continue to the next step.

Rebuild Mailbox

  1. Rebuild the Mailbox:
    • Select the mailbox (Inbox or any other) you want to rebuild in the Mail app.
    • Go to Mailbox in the menu bar.
    • Select Rebuild. This process might take a few minutes depending on the size of your mailbox.

Check iCloud Settings

  1. Sign in to iCloud.com:
    • Open a web browser and go to iCloud.com.
    • Sign in with your Apple ID.
  2. Check Mail Settings:
    • Open the Mail app on iCloud.com.
    • Ensure that you see the Trash/Bin folder here. If it’s missing, there might be an issue with your iCloud settings.

Add Trash Mailbox Manually

  1. Manually Add Trash Mailbox:
    • If the Trash mailbox is still not showing, you can add it manually.
    • In the Mail app, go to Mailbox in the menu bar.
    • Select New Mailbox....
    • Choose iCloud as the location and name it Trash or Bin.
  2. Set the New Mailbox as Trash:
    • Go back to Mail > Preferences > Accounts > Mailbox Behaviors.
    • Set the newly created Trash mailbox as the Trash Mailbox.

Restart Mail App and Mac

  • Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve sync issues.
  • Quit the Mail app and restart your Mac.

Update macOS

  • Ensure that your macOS is up to date. Sometimes, updates can fix bugs and improve functionality.
  • Go to System Preferences > Software Update and install any available updates.
Let me know if it helps.
