I need to cancel an install of Tiger because the second disk is unreadable and I don't want iLife and all that other junk anyway. But there's no option to quit the install, restart it, or go to Disk Utility. How can I start over and just do a basic install without needing the second disk?

Thanks for your reply.

56 views and nobody knows anything? Thanks.

Anyway, do this: Zap the PRAM - On restart hold down Command (Apple)+Option (alt)+P+R and keep holding down until you hear 5 chimes. Now hold down the C key with the OS X disk inserted.

So put the disc in, restart with Ctrl+Cmd+power button before it spits the disc out, and do the above.
