Need advice upgrading

I need speed and lots of processing power for my Music Production studio so i am looking for some advice.

I was waiting for Apple's WWDC event and after seeing the new Mac Pro it looks pretty good.

I was gearing towards getting an i7 iMac with 3.2 GHz processor and then upgrade the memory myself to the max 32GB following the iFixIt guides.

My total budget is around 2500 euros for everything.

But with the new Mac Pro coming out soon and i know how good this machine is, what price do you think it will start at?

And im presuming it will sell with out a screen?

The i7 iMac is great computer, I use 1 myself, but the new Mac Pro will be amazing and I'm also considering the upgrade.

No one knows the price, but I would guess all up with screen and RAM not a lot of change from US$ 8,000, maybe more.

If price is even a consideration the new Pro is not for you.

You must have a short memory, look back at the original Mac Pro and the cost of screens and RAM for them.

Graphics - $1,000
