Mouse problem

I have an iMac. Sierra OS 10.12.1 and a Logitech mouse CE m325

Since installing the new OS. the mouse is doing crazy things, as in: when I scroll down, it scrolls down for a second or less then, while continuing to scroll down with the wheel, the screen scrolls up, then down, then up and so on.

Any answers will be much appreciated.

I use that same exact mouse on my 13" Mac Book Air, and a Logitech CE M310 mouse with my Mac MIni. Logitech released a new, Sierra-compatible version of their Logitech Control Center Software, V3.9.5, back in September.. You can get it from here:

You're welcome! It's important to insure that any third party apps one uses are compatible with the new OS. For the Logitech Control Center software, though, it can be difficult finding out what the latest version is. I do check the site:

https://www.macupdate.com/

a couple of times a day, and I am just about certain that is where I saw the info about V3.9.5 of the software back in September. But, I do not download anything form there, as they "force" you to use their installer. I just either go to the company's/developer's site, or do a google search.
