Hi
I am worried about my iMac being hacked. I have placed passwords & firewall on my computer but am still concerned about my computer being used when I am not around by people in my building.
I have tried looking up logs in the console but I looked online about this & the following day the logs had been wiped. Not sure if I can recover the logs or if there is a reason why my iMac hasn't been logging wake, logins etc.
Anyway I would appreciate if anybody could give me advice on how to go about checking if my system is being used when I am at work or if I can recover the logs from console or terminal.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

In all my years using Mac's had no security issues.
Main thing is use guest account.
Since release of SL security has increased also have a look here.
