iwork 09 - not opening

Using a 13" Macbook Pro 7.1 running OS X 10.6.8.
Tried to open Pages 09 and getting error message;


Dyld Error Message:
Library not loaded: @rpath/Inventor.framework/Versions/C/Inventor
Referenced from: /Library/Application Support/iWork '09/Frameworks/SFCompatibility.framework/Versions/A/SFCompatibility
Reason: image not found

Have reloaded Pages 09 from original disc and same error appears. Also applies to Keynote and Numbers. This has only happened today.
Software is up to date.

Anyone any ideas what the problem may be? Thanks in anticipation.

Hello and welcome.

I think you need to do a complete uninstall, then reinstall.

Delete the following:

Macintosh HD/Applications/iWork '09 (folder)
Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/iWork '09 (folder)
Macintosh HD/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iWork09.xxx (all files that begin with this)
Macintosh HD/Users/your user name/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iWork.xxx and com.apple.iWork09 (all files that begin with these)

Then restart Mac and reinstall iWork. Run Software Update until there are no more updates.

Let us know if you still have the issue after this,
