iTunes, iPhoto, iMpi**ed

I have a new intel dual core imac, running latest OSX.
Here is a brain number:

1. I have successfully exported my music to a network drive & reassigned my itunes library. I share the drive w/ my PC. all dl's & plays are good, program works great & songs are no longer on my imac HDD.

BUT:

2. when I use iMovie native installation to make slideshows, the iTunes list of songs will NOT import to iMovie. It is as if they are not there.

3. When in the cool media mode (when you use the remote on the mac) & I go into itunes, it will not play the songs. It is as if they are not there.

Keep in mind, it works fine when running w/itune native application.
Is there a way to get these apps to play nicely? I expect this from my PC but not my Mac, please help!

Hi there maddog,

The 'cool media mode', FrontRow...do the songs display...or is the list empty ?

The chances are FrontRow is looking in a specific place for your 'tunes'...and because you have moved them...it doesn't know where to look.

The same is probably true of iMovie...

I shall investigate further tonight !
