Hey,
Im pretty new to Macs and am having issues with my Macbook recognising Indesign and PDF (and a few other) files that are on my work server which is a PC. Basically my Mac changes the file names and they show up as (eg.) MITCHE~3.IND When the actual file name is MitchellsRun_070830.indd, some files are fine but all the ones that aren't always change the name to the first 5 letters of the original name in capitals, then ~ symbol and changes the extension name and i can't open them.
Any ideas why? Thanks heaps
