Since a while our iMac keeps crashing when opening built-in Mac applications (Finder, calendar, saving files from other applications like photoshop, ...). We've tried a factory reset, but the problem keeps occurring. We get the following panic report. For me this is gibberish. Can anyone translate this into an actual problem? Is there something wrong with the hardware? Attached you'll find a picture of the error message on the screen when the iMac is shutting down unexpectedly.

iMac specifications:

Hello and welcome.

If you did a complete erase and install and the issue persists with nothing else installed but macOS, it could be a hardware issue. Nothing in the panic report looks out of the ordinary. The only thing I see is that you have added RAM. The first thing I would try would be to remove any third-party RAM and see if the issue continues.
