Hello,
Before I got my mbp I printed from my Linux desktop to a FreeBSD machine running CUPS. And it work as it should.
But now I want to be able to print from my mbp. I've already found out that I can add normal http-printers through the web interface.
The problem though is that I can't select the correct driver. There are enough other deskjet models to choose from, just not the one that I need.
However when I directly connect it to my mbp OSX finds the correct driver for the job.
So what is the reason that OSX can find the right driver but it isn't in the list to choose from.
