Morning guys and girls,

I play Tigerwoods 2003 on my G4 Powerbook. Plays perfect with 128mb of video.

I have just installed it on my G5 tower which has 256mb graphics card and a message tells me directX does not have enough memory.
I have been a mac user for 1 year so maybe I need to change a setting... open to offers..

thanks rik

I am unsure why you are getting a direct x error message on your G5 tower, because the Mac OS uses Open GL for rendering !

Try to see if you can change a video setting related to Open GL to set the game using open GL only.

Also, do the systems have different versions of Mac OSX on them? You could try updating the G5.

Is there any update for the game? I do know that the G4 processors are 32 bit and the G5 runs at 64 bit, so maybe you need to update/patch the game to run on the G5 correctly.

thanks for reply. G5 uses a newer version of OSX.
I'll know look at video settings and a patch for the game.
Thanks
Rik G5 and ///M3
