Apple Display Adapter - what is this for?

Hello all,

I just found some items related to a Macintosh Performa I formerly had. Among them, there was this display adapter shown in the picture. I know that on one end, there is the DA-15 connector that fits into the socket for the display on the Performa. But what kind of connector is this on the other side? It looks a bit like DVI but does not seem to mechanically fit.

Could be a SCART adapter, I think they had a similar looking plug. It is to a monitor.
