Ahhh NEED HELP ASAP!

just purchased my macbook pro tonight and im running the setup wizard thing, and when i go to set it to connect to my netgear wireless router it just loads and loads and doesnt respond PLEASE HELP!. wont sleep untill my mac works

I assume you are trying to set your netgear up wirelessly? If so, you need to connect it via ethernet cable first and then set your router up that way.

If your router is already set up, have you set any security on the router for wireless access? (WEP etc) If so, you need to key in this information for your macbook pro to access your network.

If your SSID is set to "hidden" on your router, you also need to key in the SSID of the netgear in the new macbook pro, otherwise it will not know which network it should be joining (especially if there are other wireless networks in your area.)
