Vertical pink lines appearing on screen

My MacBook Pro has recentlt starting showing vertical pink lines on windows where there is a certain shade of white such as on google's home page.

Does anyone have a solution?

Here's a bit of details of my system:
17 inch MacBook Pro 2009 OSX 10.10.5
