Hi guys so i recently just sent in my mac for a battery replacement and when I got it back, I found that the replaced battery was manufactured in 2011 and its roughly 10 years old. Is it safe to use this battery or should I call up apple to check? Thanks in advance for the replies.

Hello and welcome.

-Which exact model Mac?
-Where did you sent it for the battery replacement?

Yes, it should be totally safe to use. Date of manufacture doesn't matter, as long as the charging cycle count is less that 2 when first installed and it charges close to full charge capacity. Those can both be checked in  > About This Mac > System Report > Power.
