I am trying to free up space on my Macintosh HD.
I checked the size of my 'User' (home) folder by using 'Get Info'. It says 174 GB. In order to identify which of the subfolders was taking up so much space, it then ran 'Get Info' on each of the subfolders. The total between them all adds up to only 55 GB.
Any idea why there is a 119 GB disparity between the size of the User (Home/Parent) folder and the sum of its subfolder contents?
