Freeing External Hard drive?

So I was kinda stupid one day and I wanted to try backing up my mac to see how it would work and I didn't have a high enough gb hard drive so I used a 16gb camera sd memory card. I think doing so changed the format of the memory card to MAC Case sensitive or something. I can't use the memory card anymore and when I put it on the computer I can't add anything into it. Like, I can't add a folder to the memory card. Does anyone have any solutions? Much appreciated, thanks.

Have you tried using a camera to re-format the card? You will lose all the data, of course, but it should rescue the card.

When I put it in the camera it says there's a memory card error. :/

And I've already deleted everything on the memory card; it let's me take stuff off, just not put things on.

You may still be able to get to the Format command on your camera.
Also check you haven't set the write protection tab on the SD Card.

Failing that see if DiskUtility sees it.
If it does reformat it as FAT32.
