Forbidden error 403 message

Hi everyone,
This has probably been asked before, but can anyone explain in layman's terms how to correct this?
I recently joined a ( Ahem ) adult website, which I was browsing yesterday, and went for a coffee, but when I returned and tried to access another page on the site I got the above error message ! I tried logging out and then re - logging in, but to no avail. I also tried emptying my cache and cokies, but still no joy !
I am running Mac OSX.6 snow Leopard, and using Safari and Firefox browsers.
If anyone can help I would be most grateful.

It means the sever handing out the pages doesn't think you are allow the pages.

Contact the site owner to resolve the problem.

This one was on an adult site, but I left it for a day & tried again, and it worked fine, so the problem must have been at their end.
