Fake google page for phishing?

Whenever I try to access google.com, I automatically get google.es, wherein everything is in Spanish. I cannot access the English google page, unless I allow a cookie and specifically select English. In addition, the headings on my blogs in blogger are in Spanish, although the text is still in English. This started happening a few days ago.
I want to believe this is simply a google problem, but I'm wondering if anyone else is having the same difficulty.
The suspicious part of me wonders if this is a phony google page for phishing. (The weird thing is that it happens on all three browsers I use: Safari, Camino, Firefox. I'm using OS 10.4.11.)

Look in the Preferences section of the Google page

See what is selected there for language
