I have a G5 Mac. I needed to get a new DVD-CD drive and have ordered the
Apple/Pioneer DVR-109AB 'SuperDrive' 16X DVD w/DL DVD Media+SW Bundle#6, which a friend will install.

Anyway, I would like to convert a lot of relatively short clips I have in the WMV, mpg, avi formats to something I can put on the DVD to view on my regular DVD player. I have seen conversion software, but it only seems to be for PC. Any suggestions? I don't need anything real fancy.
Thanks.

Hi there,

you could upgrade your version of QuickTime to QuickTime Pro, then use Automator to convert the files for you.

Do you have iMovie, Final Cut Express/Pro ?

Although I haven't used it, I notice I do have IMOVIE 3.0.3, which must have come with the install discs to my G5. Would I still need QUICK TIME PRO? Someone mentioned a FLIP4MAX software...only $29 and it may do the trick.
THanks...
