Windows to go usb for mac... NTFS file system?

I followed a guide to create a windows to go usb using easyuefi.com software, but the software formatted the USB as NTFS... So doesn't this mean I won't be able to save any personal files on the usb or use it like a normal harddrive since mac cannot write to NTFS? I chose GPT UEFI mode for the usb when creating.

Hello,

Looks like that process is to create a USB flash drive to support portable Windows installs? Are you trying to create a USB flash drive to backup/transfer files between Windows and Mac computers?
