I'm experiencing an issue with my Ultra 2 where 10.4 update won't progress past the "preparing" stage. Despite trying the recommended fixes on other forums, I've had no success. Has anyone encountered this problem and found a solution?
Hey, try opening the Watch app on your iPhone, going to general>storage> selecting the watchOS update, and deleting it. Restart both devices and try again.
I have the same issue on the wife's Watch SE on occasion... The way I have solved this was to use a different charger and then the upgrade installs. Don't ask why this works, but it does in my situation.
