My problem is that my macbook pro keyboard button 'z' keeps popping out while typing. Everytime it pops out i need to press it back to continue typing.

Yesterday, i went to apple service centre. I sent my macbook for inspection. Today they called me said that it cannot be covered under warranty because it is considered as User Damage. I keep telling them that the keyboard broke by itself and not because of me. I am really disappointed because i paid for applecare earlier but now i cannot claim the warranty and they give me silly reason.

How to solve this issue? i really want to claim the warranty because i know that it is not my fault.

Hello and welcome.

Did you go to an actual Apple Store, or an Apple Authorized Service Provider?

Technically, they are correct, but some shops are more lenient for small issue like a key cap popping off. I would suggest trying another shop.
