Hi,
I'm trying to look over the resources in an old Mac program. I believe ResEdit would work, but I'm running Mac OS 10.7, which doesn't support Classic Mac OS, it says. I also downloaded ResFork, but my Mac won't do PowerPC apps, either, it says. My latest attempt is ResKnife, which does run, but as I look through the old app folders, ResKnife doesn't seem willing to load any of the files.
Maybe it wants to load a folder? But it can't seem to find a fork it's willing to open either.
I know little about the Mac, so I may have some of the terms wrong.
I had also tried getting a Mac emulator so I could run ResEdit, which I have used before. I suppose I could get our IT dept to give me the Mac OS X disk, and finish setup of PearPC, or some other emulator... but surely there's an easier way?
