I have a problem with wallpaper: I replaced an image with the same name with one that was already used as wallpaper and now I can no longer access wallpaper to edit it.

Hello and welcome.

Sorry for the delayed response.
  • Which model Mac?
  • Which version of macOS?
  • Did you replace a default system Apple wallpaper, or an image you have?
  • Where did you replace the file?
  • Does System Preferences not open any longer?
